Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry has a new roommate. Kate McGroarty, a high school theater teacher is the lucky winner of the Museum's Month at the Museum contest. Her prize? The chance to live in the museum for 30 days in a "chic science geek" cube with behind-the-scenes access to the museum and a platform to share her experiences with the world. Oh, and there's a hefty $10,000 prize at the end. Don't forget to pick up your dirty laundry. [Curbed Chicago]Nathan Shedoff began collecting Concorde memorabilia in 2004 and since then has amassed enough stuff to host dinner service for 16 complete with official linens and place mats. "The Concorde was and became one of the last symbols of the future of flight travel as a glamorous and awe-inspiring achievement of human ingenuity," he writes on his blog. Friends call it his "Concorde thing," but Shedoff argues he's not obsessed. Sure, buddy. We believe you. [Gizmodo]Don't panic. There's only 78 more shopping days until Christmas. Not quite in the holiday spirit? A visit to this Michigan store will surely give you a little inspiration. Claiming the title of largest Christmas store in the world, the open-year-round Bronner's Christmas Wonderland is home to over 50,000 Christmas items and a shipping department to mail your recently purchased goodies home.
